Tax Relief for Masonic Lodges!

Brothers of Texas, we once again have the opportunity to alleviate the burden of ad valorem taxes from charitable organizations like ours. Texas House Bill 132 is now in the Ways and Means Committee.

Do this now!
Write or e-mail your House Representative and urge him or her to pass this legislation when it comes for a vote. And write to the members of the Ways and Means Committee below and let them know you want this Bill to pass.

Brethren, the revenue lost to municipalities from the ad valorem tax on our Lodges is a drop in the bucket for most. But to us, it can make the difference between whether a Lodge survives or not. Make your voice heard!

More Nefarious Doings

Those secretive Masons, operating inconspicuously in the shadows of our society are at it again. Raising money for the 22 hospitals operated by the Shriners is only a cover for their real purpose, corrupting our youth with that most foul of decadent past-times: college football!

Turn away from ESPN2 on January 17 at 3pm CST; lest these insidious Freemasons expose you to their evil doings in Houston. You are far better off finding an Anti-Masonic nose-picking contest somewhere in your own home town.

Yes, good people, to be a Shriner you have to be a Freemason. So be not fooled by their philanthropy and their parades. By their fruits you will know them! If it was God's will that thousands of children suffer with burns or crippling disease, where do the Shriners get off helping them with their hospitals?

We're Baaaack

The well publicised story from the Los Angeles Times last May makes plain that Freemasonry is enjoying a comeback.

Liberty, Equality and Fraternity are timeless values which Masons have exalted for generations. And this is going to continue for generations to come.

"Dubya" is NOT a Freemason

OK, I don't usually wax political in my posts. In this case, there have been too many indications of a New World Order conspiracy including, of course, George W. Bush. And such cabal is Masonic in it's inspiration.

There is no relationship between the Skull and Bones Society of Yale University and Freemasonry. There is no such thing as the Illuminati. The Bilderbergers are not part of Masonry. The Trilateral Commission is not part of Freemasonry. The Council on Foreign Relations is not part of Freemasonry.

"The DiVinci Code" is a novel and a movie. "National Treasure" is likewise a body of fiction.

And finally, President George W. Bush is not a Freemason. As to whatever confederacy of dunces he may be involved with, I cannot imagine.

I welcome ANYONE with information to the contrary to respond with the particulars of Mr. Bush's membership in any Masonic body.

Fact Checking Is Optional

The times are not changing all that much.

Freemasons are being blamed for the evils of the world as often as they were in the 19th and 20th Centuries.

The Albert Pike Memorial in Little Rock was vandalized; satanic symbols spray painted on the memorial to one of Arkansas most famous sons.

The alt.freemasonry usenet group (why do I bother) continues to be peoples with "those who know the truth" haranguing about the New World Order and the Illuminati, all of which is part of Masonry. One poster insists on publishing the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, determined to "prove" the Masonic-Jewish conspiracy to rule the world.

And, of course, it's all involved in the worship of the devil. But this tripe is not just on the free-for-all we call the Internet. Consider this commentary http://southcoloradan.asf.adams.edu/index.php?page=commentary-7

Folks, there just is no way that Freemasonry can genuinely have a "plan" for the world except to promote charity and the general effort ot get along as best as we can.

If FDR and Harry Truman can be brothers to Strom Thurman and Jesse Helms, there is no alignment as to how the world needs to be "run". If J. Edgar Hoover and George McGovern can sit in the same Lodge (I don't know that they every did, but they could have), there is not consistent "plan" for a New World Order.

And lets consider the Christian and Jewish and Moslem leaders who have been Masons. The guy who wrote the book on being in league with the devil and the misery it causes, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was a Mason. Would Rev. Norman Vincent Peale be honored in the Scottish Rite Temple in Washington, DC, if Masonry was diabolic in origin?

Any joker can call himself a Mason and live the life he wants. That doesn't mean he IS a Mason and represents Freemasonry as a body. Non-masons have been "revealing" the nefarious practices and beliefs of our Fraternity for generations. Lets stop giving them an audiance.
